Yep…you read that correctly!
I really had to laugh out loud at the fact that here I am posting another SWEET TREAT on the blog when in fact I could care less about dessert! I am much more of a salty treat person! Gimme the popcorn over a brownie any day! lol
But when I go over to Sean’s family I like to bring what I know they love….and sweets it is! I do try to make it a healthier treat when possible. Today I was on my way home from the pool and I had to run into Trader Joe’s for some protein powder so I decided to take a look at what I could make for a fast, easy, & healthy dessert.
I saw these:

All you need to add to this dry mix is 2/3 Cup non-fat vanilla yogurt. (I only use/have plain greek)
Nice stats!

& made these:
*WARNING the batter is SUPER thick and your arm will hurt after mixing these. lol

12 nice sized brownies for 3 PP each!

What’s great about these is they have the recipe for a single serving- microwavable treat on the box as well!
I’m no brownie expert but the bite I tasted was very rich and gooey! I think I should get a few more boxes to keep in the pantry for another FAST dessert!
I really hope you live by a TJ’s and can go get yourself a box of these soon…if dessert is your thing.
Enjoy!
BYE!
Probably better than my "guilt-free brownies" which involves getting so drunk that you don't feel any guilt about how many brownies you eat...
ReplyDeleteToo bad no TJ's in Canada. But maybe our healthy store that is compared to TJ's might have something like this.
ReplyDeleteYou always find the coolest stuff...
ReplyDeleteI'm in love and on the hunt for this mix! LOL! Stop tempting me with sweets, I'm also a salty snack lover but these look to yummy not to "research"!
ReplyDeleteUGH! We so need a TJ's in Oklahoma! I am always seeing/hearing great things and we don't have one. :( I've also gotten some good things in my foodie pen pal packages from there.
ReplyDeleteI saw these on your instagram and they look GREAT! I bet they'd be awesome with some light ice cream too!! :)
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to find the TJ's mix. I take any brownie mix (Duncan Hines, Betty Crocker) and mix in 1/3 c non-fat yogurt, 1 t. Vanilla
ReplyDelete2 egg whites (1/3c egg whites or 1/4 c egg substitute). Try it!
perfect for those who don't have a TJ's near by! Thanks Lucy! :)
DeleteAs with most TJ products, they are repackaged brands. In this case of the 'guilt free brownies' these are the No Pudge Brownies. Same calorie count, fat count etc and only require yogurt for a mix in. See Www.nopudge.com
ReplyDeleteI hope that helps!
Nice post TJ!
