Hi Guys! I thought I'd share a video with you! Nursery is coming along, not finished yet, but I thought I would share anyway. I would love your help if you have any web sites that have helped you organize in your own nursery, or if you have any first time Mom advice for me feel free to leave a comment. I would appreciate it! Thank you!
I have 4 children, and I used the padded type bumper with all of them. If you place the baby in the middle of the crib, they should be fine. The rule of thumb is, if they can roll over, they have enough coordination to move their head if they can't breathe. Once they get that mobile, they are generally fine unless there are other problems.
Congratulations! I haven't been on your blog in a while and was excited for you when I saw that you were expecting. I'm 42, and my kids are all adults now (22 yr old & 19 yr old twins). I always used the bumpers, and never had any problems. When they are infants, they don't move to much, and if you place them in the middle of the crib, they stay put. But I know things have changed since I have had kids, because I heard that infants should now sleep on their backs, and I always propped them on their side, which is what my mom told me to do since that is what she did for all of us, so we wouldn't get "flat" heads. :) Anyways, congratulations! And I look forward to reading the updates on your blog. ~Shannon
